Our mission
Every person with diabetes deserves to see their own data.
A continuous glucose monitor for everyone on insulin — always. And at least two weeks a year of CGM for every other person living with diabetes.

Our story
It started with one number.
cgm4all began among a small group of patients, clinicians and caregivers who kept meeting the same frustration, wherever they lived: continuous glucose monitoring is transformative — and it's rationed.
In some countries, CGM is standard of care for anyone using insulin. In others, families pay hundreds out of pocket, or go without. And for the hundreds of millions of people with Type 2 diabetes not on insulin, structured CGM insight — even a few weeks a year — is rarely offered at all, despite growing clinical evidence.
We think that's a policy problem, not a science problem. We started in Europe, and we're building a global coalition to fix it.

Where it started
From the IDF Europe Youth Leadership Lab.
cgm4all grew out of the IDF Europe Youth Leadership Lab and is part of YOURAH. Their endorsement and support helped turn an idea into an advocacy initiative — one that now works across Europe for better CGM access for everyone living with diabetes.

Our policy ask
What we're asking for.
CGM for all insulin-dependent types
Full reimbursement of continuous glucose monitoring for every person who depends on insulin, regardless of diabetes type or country of residence.
At least two weeks a year for non-insulin-dependent types
Structured, reimbursed intermittent CGM for people with non-insulin-treated diabetes — long enough to change behaviour, targets, and treatment.
A shared global standard
End the postcode lottery: a common minimum of CGM access across every country, tracked publicly and reviewed yearly.

In the room
Showing up where policy is made.
From youth leadership labs to national patient forums, we bring the case for universal CGM access directly to the people shaping diabetes policy — in Europe and around the world.

Built together
In the room, together.
cgm4all took shape because we were in the same room — at the IDF Europe Youth Leadership Lab, surrounded by advocates who understood the gap between what glucose monitoring could do and what health systems actually cover. The idea came out of those conversations, not a formal workshop.

Principles
Patient-led
Every policy ask is grounded in lived experience, tested with the community it affects.
Evidence-first
We publish the studies, the country-by-country reimbursement data, and our sources.
Non-partisan
We work with anyone — clinicians, industry, ministries, legislators — who moves access forward.
